Dr. Keith Ayoob photo

 Dr. Keith Ayoob, Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York City, where he also directs the Nutrition Center at the Rose Kennedy Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center. He has been working with adults and children for over 20 years and spent nine years as a spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association. Dr. Ayoob can be seen sharing his science based consumer-friendly nutrition advice on TV as well as in leading magazines and newspapers. He was a featured speaker at the recent SNA convention in Dallas.

Dr. David Breland photo

 Dr. David Breland is a Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Specialist at the University of Washington School of Medicine and Seattle Children’s Hospital. He works with adolescent patients who have obesity issues, eating disorders, anxiety and depression. He has a special interest in nutritional issues among adolescents. From 2004 to 2006, he was co-director of the Heathy Eating Active Living Clinic, Children’s Hospital and Rsearch Center in Oakland, California.

Sylvia Melendez

 Sylvia Meléndez is a registered dietitian, certified personal trainer and an expert in cross-cultural Hispanic cuisine as it relates to nutrition and health. She uses her expertise to introduce new strategies for wellness to an increasingly health-conscious Hispanic population.

She serves as special counsel on nutrition to the US Congressional Hispanic Caucus, has appeared on national television and her articles appear in popular Latina magazines. Her experience includes working with the American Heart Association, the University of Michigan, the Diocese of Corpus Christi, TX, and the American Stroke Association to educate the Mexican-American community about nutrition and the risk of stroke. She is on the Board of Namaste Charter School in Chicago, IL, and is responsible for the nutrition curriculum and menus for a number of schools in the Chicago area. 

Sylvia was formerly supervisor of consumer test kitchens at the Quaker Oats Company. She has been a research dietitian at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago and the University of California Irvine Medical Center, as well as a supervising nutritionist for the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) supplemental feeding program.
